These terms govern your use of HelloHR, a marketplace connecting companies, freelance recruiters, and candidates. By registering for or using HelloHR, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
1. What HelloHR is
HelloHR is a facilitator, not an employer or a recruitment agency. We provide the platform through which companies post roles, recruiters source and submit candidates, and candidates apply — but we are not a party to any employment relationship, offer, or hiring decision that results.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to register an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Information you provide during registration must be accurate and kept up to date.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in abusive behaviour.
3. For companies
- Credits purchased are tied to your company account and are non-transferable to other accounts.
- Unlocking a candidate profile grants you access to their contact details for recruitment purposes only — not for resale, spam, or any unrelated use.
- You set the commission percentage offered to recruiters on each role you post, and agree to honour it for any resulting hire made through the platform.
4. For recruiters
- You must have the candidate's consent to submit their profile and resume to HelloHR.
- Candidate information you submit must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- A candidate already represented on HelloHR — by another recruiter, or by their own registered account — cannot be claimed by a second recruiter. If you upload someone already in our system, their resume is retained for our records but is not added to your pipeline, and no commission will be payable to you for that candidate.
- Commission is payable only once a hire is confirmed by the hiring company and processed by HelloHR; it is not guaranteed at the time of submission or interview.
- Referral bonuses are calculated only on the direct commissions earned by the recruiter you referred — never on commissions earned by recruiters they in turn refer.
5. For candidates
- Applying to a role, whether via WhatsApp or a registered account, is free and will always remain free.
- By applying, you consent to your details being shared with the company for that specific role, and, if a recruiter submitted you, with that recruiter for pipeline tracking purposes.
- We do not guarantee that any application will result in an interview, offer, or hire.
6. Payments
Company credit purchases are processed through a third-party payment gateway. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Posting fake job listings or fake candidate profiles
- Scraping, bulk-downloading, or redistributing platform data
- Circumventing the platform to avoid commission or credit obligations for a match made through HelloHR
- Harassment, spam, or misuse of contact details obtained through the platform
8. Limitation of liability
HelloHR is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of listings or candidate submissions, or any hiring outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloHR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Termination
You may stop using HelloHR and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our discretion.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of HelloHR after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
